     Ans: The child on a cloud symbolizes Jesus Christ.

b) What is Pastoral Poetry?

     Ans: Pastoral poem is a very ancient genre of poetry which deals with the loves and lives of shepherds, shepherdesses and other folks in an idealized rural setting.

c) What is noticed in every face in “London”?

     Ans: Mark of weakness and woe is noticed in every face in "London".

d) What is an Ode?

     Ans: An Ode is a lyric poem, usually addressing a particular person or thing.

e) How many sailors were on the board of the ship?

     Ans: There were 200 sailors excluding the mariner on the board of the ship.

f) What was the Abyssinian maiden doing?

     Ans: The Abyssinian maid was playing on a dulcimer and singing of Mount Abora.     

 g) Who was Kubla Khan?

     Ans: Kubla Khan was the grandson of Genghis Khan. He was the first emperor of Yuan dynasty.

h) What is a ballad?

     Ans: Ballad is a narrative poem which tells a grave story through dialogue and action. Its language is simple and theme is often tragic.

i) Who is Homer?

     Ans: Homer was a Greek epic poet.

j) Who is called the poet of beauty?

     Ans: Keats is called the poet of beauty.

k) Who are Juan’s parents?

     Ans: Don Jose and Donna Inez were Juan’s parents.

1) What do you know about Dorothy?

     Ans: Dorothy is the sister of William Wordsworth. She accompanied the poet in his second visit to the Wye.
